Who Is This Policy For And What Does It Cover?

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how Service World Realty LLC (collectively, “SWR” or “us”) collect, use, and disclose Personal Information about you through our websites and other online products and services (collectively, our “Services”), or when you otherwise interact with us. This Policy also explains related rights and choices you have. You may see other privacy notices when we collect your Personal Information for certain purposes. Those notices supplement this Policy.

We may change this Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the Policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification). We encourage you to review this Policy whenever you access our Services or otherwise interact with us to stay informed about our information practices and the choices available to you.

What is “Personal Information”?

“Non-Personal Information,” on the other hand, has been anonymized, aggregated or de-identified such that it cannot reasonably be linked to a particular individual or their household.

  • Carry out any other purpose described to you at the time the information was collected.

We may use Non-Personal Information for any purpose.

Advertising and Analytics Services Provided by Others

We may allow others to provide analytics services and serve advertisements on our behalf across the internet and in applications. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers and other technologies to collect information about your use of our Services and other websites and applications, including your IP address, web browser, mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages or in apps, links clicked and conversion information. This information may be used by SWR and others to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, deliver advertising and content targeted to your interests on our Services and other websites and better understand your online activity. How We Disclose Personal Information

We will not share Personal Information except in the following circumstances:

  • With vendors, consultants and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf. For example, we use Microsoft 365 and Zoho to store information.  Please see Zoho’s privacy policy (Zoho - Privacy Policy) and Microsoft’s privacy statement (Microsoft Privacy Statement – Microsoft privacy) for more information;
  • In response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law or legal process, including lawful requests by public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements;
  • If we believe your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property and safety of SWR or others;
  • In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company;
  • Between and among SWR and our current and future parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and other companies under common control and ownership; and
  • With your consent or at your direction.

We may also share Non-Personal Information with third parties for any purpose.

Social Sharing Features

Our Services may offer social sharing features and other integrated tools (such as the Facebook “Like” button), which let you share actions you take on our Services with other media, and vice versa.  Your use of such features enables the sharing of information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you establish with the entity that provides the social sharing feature. For more information about the purpose and scope of data collection and processing in connection with social sharing features, please visit the privacy policies of the entities that provide these features.

Data Retention

We store the information we collect about you for as long as is necessary for the purpose(s) for which we originally collected it. We may retain certain information for as long as we have an ongoing relationship with you, for legitimate business purposes, or as otherwise required by law or legal process.

Transfer of Information to the U.S. and Other Countries

SWR Corporation is based in the United States. We process and store information in the United States and other countries. When we transfer your personal data, we take steps to ensure that your personal data receives an adequate level of protection.

Your Choices

Managing Personal Information

You may update, correct or delete information about you at any time by logging into your online account, if applicable.  You may also request to update, correct or delete information about you by emailing us at helpdesk@serviceworldrealtyinc.zohodesk.com. Please note that we may retain certain information as required or authorized by law or for legitimate business purposes.  We may also retain cached or archived copies of information about you for a certain period of time.

Do Not Track Signals

Your browser may offer a Do Not Track (DNT) setting. If you turn that setting on, your browser sends a signal to websites indicating that you don’t want to be tracked over time or across third party sites. We don’t currently respond to DNT signals because there is not a common understanding of how to process them or a consensus on what “tracking” means.

Promotional Communications

You may opt out of receiving promotional emails or text messages from SWR by following the instructions in those communications or by logging into your online account. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account, transactions, or our ongoing business relations.

Residents Of Certain U.S. States

Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other U.S. states that have enacted comprehensive consumer privacy legislation have certain rights when they interact with a business in a consumer context (as opposed to a business-to-business or employment context), including:

  • To confirm whether or not a business is processing the consumer’s Personal Information and to access such Personal Information;
  • To correct inaccuracies in the consumer’s Personal Information;
  • To delete Personal Information provided by or obtained about the consumer;
  • To obtain a copy of the consumer’s Personal Information that the consumer previously provided to the business in a portable, and to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format that allows the consumer to transmit the data to another business without hindrance (if the data is processed by automated means)
  • To opt out of the processing Personal Information for purposes of (i) targeted advertising, (ii) the sale of Personal Information, or (iii) profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legally or similarly significant effects concerning the consumer.

How to Exercise Your Rights With SWR

To opt-out of targeted advertising on our Services, please visit our privacy preference center here.

To exercise other rights, please submit a request to helpdesk@serviceworldrealtyinc.zohodesk.com. We will handle all requests in accordance with applicable law.  If you are submitting a request on behalf of another consumer as their authorized agent, we may require proof of authorization.  After confirming receipt of your request, we’ll contact you if we need more information in order to verify it. If we can’t verify a request, we may deny it.  The criteria we use to verify a request are determined by the nature of the request and the sensitivity of the information at issue.

If we decline to act on your request, you may have a right to appeal. To submit an appeal, please contact us at helpdesk@serviceworldrealtyinc.zohodesk.com. Within 60 days of receipt of an appeal (or as otherwise required by law), we will inform you in writing of any action taken or not taken in response to your appeal, including a written explanation of the reason for the decision.
